There's no one I trust more for product recommendations than my friends. For example, without Law Student Barbie I never would have known that Steve Madden will let you custom design your own shoes or that the shampoo known as "hair crack" is actually, truly, really that good. So here are some of my favorites. I'll let the DNB roll his eyes at this one and post his own manly favorites, like athlete's foot cream and jock straps, because this one's for the ladies.

Four friends converted and counting. This powder foundation is amazing - not only does it give you a flawless complexion, but also an incredible glow. Plus, it's all natural and won't clog your pores, so on those nights when you're too tired to take off your makeup before bed, no harm done. Get the starter kit and swirl, tap, & buff away, my friends. Seriously, go buy it. Now.

Jo Malone Body Creme

I've never been so glad to be accosted by a sales woman in Saks before. She grabbed my arm and slathered on the Jo Malone body oil, then the body creme, and I've been a changed woman ever since. My favorite scent is Grapefruit, but there are ten others if you prefer something more floral, fruity, spicy, or green. It's incredibly moisturizing, the light scent lasts all day (especially if you layer it with the body oil), and a little goes a very long way. It does have a hefty price tag, so I've had to support my habit Ebay-style on this one. A more reasonable alternative, although a little less posh, is the Philosophy line of body butters - also amazing.

Givenchy Eye Fly Lash Extender Mascara

I tend to bounce around trying different products until I find The One, and this is it for my mascara hunt. It does it all - lengthens, curls, and separates. The only caveat is that it doesn't come in a waterproof formula, boo. But I'm willing to overlook that because otherwise it's so darn good.

GoSMILE

In my opinion, this is the best home tooth-whitening system out there. Results are almost instantaneous, and there's no sensitivity. The DNB and I both used it before our wedding, which is why our smiles were so radiant and really, really ridiculously goodlooking.

* I'm not sure why, but adding "central" to things just sounds funny to me - it somehow adds unwarranted significance.
