Waldock Brothers Firewood: It Comes By the Ass-Ton
The DNB is on call when an enormous trucks pulls up outside our house.
The man who approaches the door is friendly and professional, with a Minnesota accent and a flannel shirt. The DNB has left me with strict instructions. One face cord of the firewood Waldock Brothers has brought is to be stacked on a tarp on the porch, with two others to be stacked along the back wall of the garage.
I still have no idea exactly what a face cord is (1/3 smaller than a full cord, not that that helps). All I know is that we have a hella lot of firewood.
I'm going to go burn stuff.
